Additional Notes John Danko came from a family of 12. He was one of six children and lived in Donora, PA until his mother's death 1920. His father remarried and had six more children. The family moved back and forth between Pennsylvania and Ohio before settling in Warren, Ohio. Both of Danko's parents were originally from Eastern Slovakia (at the time Hungary), and emigrated to the US in the early 1900s.
